Are you ready for the biggest little giveaway KOA’s ever had? Well, then this one is for you.

KOA and Little Guy Teardrop Camper Trailers have teamed up to give one of our campers a FREE Little Guy Joey—a value of more than $4,000. Tiny enough to be pulled by even the most compact car, the Joey is big enough to stow all of your camping stuff and roomy enough to sleep two once you get to the campground.

So what’s so great about these little trailers? Well, it’s not just the fact they’re lightweight, come in a variety of colors or are easily customizable. Or that they make setting up camp a five-minute process. Nope—it’s because they’re just downright cool.

As Little Guy COO Chris Baum puts it, “You never see miserable teardrop camper owners. They’ve always got a smile on their face.”

Think about it. When is the last time you were at a campground and saw other campers ooh-ing and ahh-ing when a fifth wheel pulled into view? Well, that’s not uncommon when it comes to Little Guy teardrops.

“Teardrop campers set folks apart from the person next to them,” Chris said. “Other campers love to come up, ask questions about how big it is or how it pulls. And owners are almost always willing—and usually downright excited—to tell folks about their teardrop. It’s really a lifestyle thing.”

In fact, in a time where budgets have gotten a little tighter, interest in teardrop campers has skyrocketed. Little Guy, the largest manufacturer in the U.S., is up about 20 percent this year alone, with 70 dealers in the states and nearly 20 in Europe.

A KOA camper himself, Chris is pleased that Little Guy and KOA have the chance to work together on the Go Little Giveaway.

“We’re putting out the best product out there, and it’s great to partner with a company known for excellence in camping,” he said. “It will be a lot of fun to see who wins.”

Teardrop trailer contest is correctly named for Canadians…we can’t enter!

  2. Angeline Fletcher says:

The contest sounds great but I have run into a problem entering.
The contest rules says that it is open to Canadian residents yet when I enter the contest form, no Canadian provinces come up. How can I enter?

    • alan hosegood says:

      Hello from BC
Same problem. No Canadian provinces are available – only shows U S states. Also postal codes in Canada are 6 items. Mine is V3B5A1

      • Mike Gast says:

Oops. We’re working on it. Check back a little later and we’ll get you, and all of our Canadian friends, in our contest!

    • Mike Gast says:

Try again. We’ve fixed the problem!

  3. Lyle says:

Guess I have to live in United States to qualify. Don’t know why it should matter being a Value Card member

  4. Don Chamberlain says:

You are ok with selling us ( CANADAIANS ) membership cards and camping space but dont want us to enter your contests

  5. jacqueline lewis says:

why cant we enter our Canadian address for your contest

  6. Nancy Hills says:

    Ditto Angeline! Very frustrating.

  7. Hailey says:

I’m running into the same problem. I have searched every possible place on the Ontario site & can’t find a link to the contest.

  8. Jennifer broglio says:

This looks great and my mother and I love to go camping. This would be a trailer that would be used every year and appreciated. Thank you Jennifer

  9. Jeremy broglio says:

This contest looks good and my wife and I would love to go camping on style. Thanks

  10. Beverly Still says:

We love to camp & have chihuahuas, they need a little more space then the van.this wood be great.
    thank you

  11. Arlene Ireland says:

I would love to enter too. I have run into the same problem as the person above, I am Canadian and it will not let me enter my province. How can I enter too.

  12. Julie says:

Contest says it’s open to Canadians, but can’t enter a province. What’s up? That Teardrop Trailer looks awesome!

  13. Eric Clink says:

    Make me your winner!

  14. Eric Clink says:

    thanks

  15. helmut jurkowitsch says:

    Give me the trailer

  16. Robert Weatherby says:

The rules state I may enter one entry per day. Yesterday after noon I submitted my first entry, this morning I tried to submit a second entry and it came back stating I could not enter again, that my email address has already been used. Do I have to wait 24hrs. to submit another entry or am I miss reading the rules?

    • Susan says:

I have had a similar problem with entering daily. I read the rules and it said I could enter once a day, but when I went to enter again today it said only one entry per e-mail address. Did I miss something when reading the rules regarding this?

      • KOA says:

Hi Susan! You know how there are amazing things about technology, like this website and the fact that we can do giveaways like this one? Well, there are also some not-so-great ones, like an electronic document not updating properly, which is what happened here. The issue has now been resolved, and the “one entry per email address” language now showing is correct.

So why did we limit it? Well, we knew that virtually every camper would love a trailer like this one, and we wanted to make it as fair as possible so that every person who enters has the same opportunity to win.

      • Susan says:

Thanks for clearing that up. I like the change of rules that you can only enter once to give everyone the same chance to win. I’m glad I don’t have to enter daily. Thanks!

  17. Jim says:

This contest does not allow Canadians to select the province or enter the correct postal code. Is the contest open to Canadians?

  18. Marlene Friesen says:

I agree with Angeline’s comment. I found the same problem. In order to be able to enter I used MN for the state. However, the rules also say that we can enter one time per day and when I went to enter again today, it came up with a message, Sorry but you have already entered. How can I enter one time per day if that is the message I get? It’s not allowing me to enter as the rules say that I can.

  19. doris gagne says:

A Canadian anxious to own a teardrop from your contest. I have to agree – we can camp at KOA and get the catalogue but not totally considered as part of the group.

    • Mike Gast says:

Doris, you are TOO a part of the KOA Family! We LOVE our Canadian campers! We fixed the problem. Try entering again!

  20. Great Dane Mom says:

Wonder if they have a version to fit two people, a lab & a great dane – with “wag room”? I suspect the dogs will sleep in the tear drop and the people in the tent –> :)

  21. KOA says:

Great news everyone! The form is now accepting entries from our Canadian Kampers!

  22. jen davis says:

This is what I have been looking for, It is just me and my daughter, and we love to came, but everything is to much for us, but this fits us perfect!!!

  23. Bob says:

What happened to Massachusetts residents? We can’t enter? Something to do with our lovely politicians in this state?

    • Kathleen Greenberg says:

I guess I have to move to Canada if I want one since I’m not eligible here in Massachusetts. Yet again.

  24. Laurie Schneider says:

The kids can sleep in the little guy and mom and dad can sleep in a tent, or the other way around!!!

  25. Richard Powell says:

The little guy would probably mean that my wife and I would travel more.

  26. Vickey Thomas says:

I have a Little Guy (4X7) and we love it… Hardly ever use the big fifth wheel. Everywhere we go people want to check it out. It is awesome

  27. Richard Powell says:

I have a trailer hitch on my truck. It would be nice to tow something other than my lawmower.

  28. Thomas King says:

I realized I misspelled my E-Mail Address on the entry form as I hit enter and was unable to update it. How can this be corrected?

    • KOA says:

Hi Thomas: Please send your name, correct email address, as well as the mailing/residential address you included in our contest entry form to our team at talktous@koakompass.com. We’ll get it taken care of in our database. Thanks for asking!

  29. eileen turner says:

    Hi,
will this offer be opened up to people in England.
The camper looks like great fun.
    Kind Regards
    Eileen Turner (UK)

    • KOA says:

Hi Eileen: Although we’d love to open the Go LIttle Giveaway to our kamping friends across the pond, this giveaway is for the US and Canada only (excluding those states or provinces that don’t allow these types of giveaways.) But good news–there are Little Guy distributors throughout Europe. Contact Camp-Runner Ltd. at + 972 50 5240809, or via email at ranal@netvision.net.il.

      • eileen turner says:

Thanks for the reply KOA. My question was really tongue in cheek didn’t really expect it to be available to us over the water.
Spent eight weeks in a rented RV touring some of the States two years ago and loved it so much that we are expecting to return again next spring, hopefully for a few months this time as we have now retired.
Anybody who can give advice on the best way to make our trip – buy an RV and sell at end of trip or rent again, possiblilities of working our way around etc – would be most grateful.
        Cheers to all.
        Eileen and Sam Turner

  30. jennifer sullivan says:

Would love for the kids to experience this

  31. gary spiller says:

The rules said once a day , I entered , then I tried to enter the next day. Opps, no can do and on top of that my original entry is now null and void. I really wanted this lil camper. How many others have been disqualified? And poor Canadians. This was a good give-away tho.

    • KOA says:

Hi Gary: We double checked our system, and only any duplicate entries are rejected; the original entry is still valid. If you would like us to verify your specific entry in our database, we’d be happy to do so; just send your name, email address and the mailing/residential address you included in the contest entry form to our team at talktous@koakompass.com.

On the “once a day” question, we did have an electronic document that originally did not update properly (ah, the joys of technology). It has been corrected to reflect that we accept one contest entry per email address throughout the promotion period–not one entry per day. In order to try to keep this giveaway as fair as possible, we did opt to limit to to one entry per email address. As you noted, this Little Guy trailer is an AWESOME prize, and we want everyone to have an equal chance of winning.

      Thanks for your question/comment!

  32. Steve says:

    I would love that trailer

  33. Eric Hillstead says:

your giving it away on my birthday so i think it should be mine dont you think! lol

  34. Angeline Fletcher says:

The problem has been fixed for us Canadians and we can enter now!
The trailer looks really cute…I know my husband would love it!

  35. Bryan says:

This thing is cool. I hope i win and if i don’t i’ll consider buying one.

  36. Mark says:

These poor canadians worried that the KOA in the U.S is gonna reject their entries. Instead of just asking about the problem, Most want to gripe that KOA wants them to join the membership but then would be excluded from joining in on any fun. As anyone affiliated with KOA knows, it is not only a fantastic organization, but a fair one too. People just need to chill a little and be patient. Even though it doesn’t matter since my girlfriend and I are the ones who are going to win this cute lil bugger anyway.

  37. Carol says:

I live on an acreage and use a PO box for my mail as we have a land location, not a street address. How can I enter the contest? Can I use a friend’s street address?

  38. Shirley says:

How great! We have an HHR and are limited in what we could tow. Looks like the right answer for the retired, fixed income two of us. And it is just plain cute.

  39. Randee Saber says:

My husband and I would really enjoy this teardrop trailer especially with the price of gas. My husband is semi-retired and I am retired. We would make good use of this trailer. We live in Houston, Texas and can go camping all year round. Thanks for considering me! Randee Saber

  40. Melanie Calcut says:

We would love to win this teardrop trailer. My fingers are crossed. My three boys really want to start camping.

  41. Pierre Seyer says:

Bonjour for 3 last year i pull a tear drop with my Harley Davidson and is perfect for a cheap trip no motel only camping thank you Koa Pierre

  42. Richard Wallace says:

I would love to have this ,
It would be ideal for hunting and camping.
I can pull this behind my pick-up,and then hook up my orther trailer that
i carry my ATV and orther hunting supply.

    Thank you

  43. John Hines says:

This trailer would be COOL behind my smart car !!!

  44. Pam Jamele says:

This trailer is ideal for me and my husband. We try and travel on a budget and we have a CR-V which would be perfect for towing this camper. Hope we win.

  45. StephCat says:

I entered; is it ok for my husband to try to win one too?

  46. cal pitto says:

tired of the tent, would love a matress to sleep on. nice and cozy for my wife and I.

  47. Linda Lee says:

When does this contest end and when will the winner know he or she has won?

    • brandi says:

Hi Linda, the contest ends on Sept 15, 2010 and the winner will be notified by mail, email or phone on or around Sept 20th. Good luck with your entry!

  48. Pat Eddlemon says:

Why not publish a cook book with all these receipes in it and have it available to purchase at the Kampground.
    That would be great.

  49. Susan says:

:P OOOOOO! This looks so cool! My family of 7 would love to go camping more. We already camp 7 times a year with an avg of 6 days @ trip. We don’t camp more due to having to pack & unpack Dad’s cargo van (which doubles as camp kitchen). With this many people, mostly kids under 10, would you recommend getting 2 or would 1 carry enough stuff for our camp trips, as we rough it (port-a-potty being the luxury on our trips)?

  50. James Brasington says:

    A cute little trailer
